The Kellogg sales organisation is headed by the Director - Sales. Reporting to the
Director - Sales are the Sales leadership team across Cereal and Field Operations. The Sales leadership team are responsible for all “key performance indicators” for their respective departments.Reporting to the Sales leadership team in Cereal, Snacks and Out of Home channels are a number of National Account Managers and state based Account Managers. Kellogg Account Managers are responsible for all business issues relevant to their account including sales volume, net sales and market share targets. Their responsibilities also include implementation of promotional programs, communication of marketing and trade marketing initiatives, forecasting and supply chain issues.Reporting to the National Sales Manager Operations are State Operations Managers, who are responsible for the field selling operations in their respective markets. Reporting to the State Operations Managers are the respective state field teams. The field teams include Territory Managers and Sales Merchandisers, totalling to approximately 80 people nationally.The field responsibility areas include product ranging and distribution, effective promotional activity, shelf management and reporting of point of purchase activity and market intelligence. The field actively promote and sell across all portfolios of cereal and snacks and in all channels, including grocery and the “out of home” channels of food service and route.
