The Kellogg Company began production in Australia in November 1924. Since then Australia and New Zealand have become one of the company’s most successful markets worldwide.

Both Australia and New Zealand have one of the highest consumptions of ready-to-eat cereals per capita in the world. Only the Republic of Ireland and the UK have higher consumption levels.

Advertising

Company founder W.K. Kellogg® was a pioneer in the art of advertising. In his first year of business, he spent much of his new company’s working capital to buy a full page ad in the July 1906 issue of the Ladies Home Journal.
